Initially conceived as a natural scene, the canvas took on a new life after Kentelki’s visit to the city, where he infused it with bold colors to capture Barcelona’s dynamic essence. His emblematic green brushstrokes remain in the lower section, grounding the piece in nature. When placed beside Landscape Before the Storm, a striking interplay emerges between hues of orange and blue, between urban and natural, enhancing the visual dialogue between the two works.
